Fall Factor: Strategic Plan Puts Kids, Parents on Track for Academic Success

EduGuide announces the availability of High School EduGuide, an online publication (http://www.EduGuide.org/hseduguide)] that details specific actions parents can take to help their children thrive in high school. It also outlines five critical factors for academic success.
The high school years are crucial for creating a standard of academic achievement that will make the transition to a post-secondary education as smooth as possible. EduGuide, a national nonprofit organization, provides many guides, tools, and resources to help parents make the most of their children’s education, from cradle to college.
“There is so much that parents can do to help their children make the transition into high school, and keep them on track, even if the parents weren’t good students themselves,” said Bryan Taylor, president and founder of EduGuide. “We know that a major key to academic success is how involved parents are in their child’s education. Our goal at EduGuide is to give parents the information they need to make good decisions when faced with the changes and choices that go along with the challenges of helping their children succeed in school and in life.”
EduGuide produces age-relevant publications that are distributed widely in elementary, middle, and high schools and directly to families of preschool children. EduGuide recently launched an online community where parents and students can ask questions, get advice, and share experiences. For more information, visit EduGuide.org.
